live YOGA CLASSES

Join me for in person classes in Forbes and Trundle. Each session is a somatic yoga practice – a combination of conscious breathing, grounding, visualisations, restorative and mindful movement and guided relaxation. Each practice supports you to deepen the connection between the brain and the body and to settle the nervous system.

LIVE YOGA CLASSES

Join me for live classes in Forbes and Trundle. Each session is a combination of breath practices, grounding visualisation, restorative and invigorating movement and relaxation with a guided meditation.

MOVEMENT

This movement practice is based on foundations of yoga and guided by the flow of nature – the seasons and the local environment. Each practice is designed with each attendee in mind, is accessible to all and combines restorative shapes and moves allowing the body to stretch, release and to heal.

BREATHING

This is the simplest of all techniques, and often the most effective for regulating our nervous system, is for people to be able to tune into their breath. This allows steadiness and the openness to relax the body, so it is open to the next new experience. The beauty of the breath is that we always have access to it.

MEDITATION

The Effortless Meditation technique requires no concentration or mental control at all. You don’t have to ‘switch your mind off’, ‘think of nothing’, nor ‘clear your mind of all thoughts’. It is extremely easy to learn and practice, feels enjoyable, and benefits in the mind and body are noticed very quickly.

The Back Room, Forbes

CWA Room, Trundle

I am a non-Indigenous woman, of Scottish, Irish and English heritage, coming to you from Forbes on Wiradjuri Country, on the banks of the Galari River. First Nations people know the medicine, the foods, the systems and the seasons. Their knowledge has been accumulated over generations of living with the land and I respect that deeply. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
